How we verify makers
Every maker is checked by our team before they can sell on EcoBuyHub.
What we check
- Company registration and trading address.
- Certificates behind every eco claim — for example FSC, GOTS, EU Ecolabel or compostability standards.
- Material sources and where products are made.
- Basic labour standards in the maker’s own production.
Product review
Each new listing is reviewed before it goes live. We check that the eco label and eco facts match the maker’s evidence.
Ongoing checks
We re-check certificates when they expire and investigate every buyer report. Makers who break the rules are suspended and their products hidden.
